2025 Omaha Corgi Races!

The Omaha Corgi Crew and Omaha Sports Commission are ecstatic to bring the fifth annual corgi racing event to River’s Edge Park!! The Omaha Corgi Races will feature racing corgis - young and old, and corgi-mixes, vendors, local rescues, and food again this year.

10:00 AM: Event Opens
11:00 AM: Heat #1
11:15 AM: Heat #2
11:30 AM: Heat #3
11:45 AM: Heat #4
Noon: Heat #5
12:15 PM: Heat #6
12:30 PM: Heat #7
12:45 PM: Heat #8
1:00 PM: Heat #9
1:15 PM: Heat #10
1:30 PM: Senior Heat
1:40 PM: Corgi-Mixes Heat
1:50 PM: Raffle Drawing
2:15 PM: Grand Championship
2:30 PM: Vendors and Rescues may start to leave
3:00 PM: Event Ends

NOTES FOR RACERS:

• All racers MUST be checked in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled race
• Unless your dog is on the starting line, all dogs MUST be leashed at all times
• Please do not scream or shriek as your corgi takes off from the starting line
• 1st place from each race may leave the park and return to the staging area NO LESS than 30 minutes before the Grand Championship

NOTES FOR EVERYONE:

• Please DO NOT park on the grass
• ONLY racing dogs are allowed to attend the corgi races (ADA certified service dogs are allowed)
• Please do not stand behind the starting line - stand on the North, East, and South sides of the race track
• Purchase raffle tickets at the Omaha Corgi Crew booth
